Appliance Terms and Conditions
- Applicant must be a New Jersey residential customer of JCP&L.
- Mail-in rebate is not available to customers who received the rebate in the form of an instant discount at the time of purchase at Lowe's and/or The Home Depot.
- Rebate applications are valid for qualified equipment purchased and installed beginning January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027.
- Rebate application must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.
- Rebate application with a valid customer account number must be accompanied by a legible copy of the paid itemized sales receipt showing proof of purchase that includes manufacturer, model number, store name and location, purchase price, and date of purchase.
- Payment will be issued to the account holder and mailing address on record with the utility.
- Please allow up to 30 days from the date all required information is received to process your rebate. For the fastest rebate possible, please submit your rebate application online.
- All rebated products must be installed and used at the service (install) address specified on the rebate application.
- Customers must abide by the rules and rebate levels in effect on the date of purchase/installation. Rebate levels cannot exceed the cost of the equipment.
- Program procedures, requirements and rebate levels are subject to change or cancellation without notice and are subject to available program funds.
- JCP&L and/or its designees, including program administrators, do not endorse any manufacturer or product as part of this program.
- Unless stated otherwise, all measures that qualify for rebates must be listed as ENERGY STAR certified at energystar.gov/products.
- Refrigerators that qualify for the $75 rebate and/or electric clothes dryers that qualify for the $100 rebate must be listed as ENERGY STAR certified at energystar.gov/products.
- Refrigerators that qualify for the $100 rebate and/or electric clothes dryers that qualify for the $300 rebate must be listed as ENERGY STAR Most Efficient at energystar.gov/products/most_efficient.
- By participating in the Company’s energy efficiency and peak demand reduction programs, customers agree their electric utility will maintain ownership of all Capacity Rights from electric savings measures, referring to the demand reduction associated with any energy efficiency and peak demand reduction measure for which incentives were provided. Your electric utility will aggregate these attributes into the PJM capacity market as appropriate, with proceeds used to reduce customer program costs.
- By submitting this JCP&L rebate application, you acknowledge and agree to the rebate requirements found on this rebate form.
- By submitting this rebate application, you authorize JCP&L to audit this application and, if requested, provide reasonable access to verify installation of qualifying product(s).
